Monte Carlo Investigation of Gamma Radiation Shielding Features for Bi2O3/Epoxy Composites

Three different samples were synthesized based on polyepoxide resin, a solidifying agent, and Bi2O3 doping compound. The resin agent added in 2:1 ratio by weight the compound was ratios of 0, 5, 10 wt. %. density composites measured using an MH-300A densimeter with uncertainty measurement 0.001 g/cm3. measurements showed that fabricated composite varied from 1.103 g/cm3 to 1.20 when reinforcing raised 0 % Furthermore, γ-ray shielding parameters evaluated simulated mean track length γ-photons inside MCNP-5 code. results show enhancement parameter increasing concentration, where linear attenuation coefficient values increased 0.101 cm−1 0.118 as concentration increase LAC has positive effect other properties.
